Goosebumps Season 2 Producer on if Season 1’s Cast Will Return

As we draw closer to the release of “Goosebumps: The Vanishing”, executive producer Rob Letterman has shared his thoughts about the series’ potential future. In 2023, Goosebumps made its comeback on television screens, and the finale of the initial season left viewers hanging with a huge cliffhanger. Consequently, fans eagerly anticipated that Goosebumps Season 2 would offer a satisfying resolution to the storylines of characters previously introduced.

As a devoted gamer, I was thrilled when they announced the renewal of my favorite show, Goosebumps. But what took me by surprise was an unexpected twist – it turns out that The Vanishing is not just another episode, but a soft reboot for the franchise! Now, I couldn’t help but wonder if our beloved cast from the first season would still be around. Well, Letterman has finally spoken up on this matter.

Rob Letterman says ‘never say never’ on Goosebumps Season 1 cast’s return

During an interview with The Direct, Goosebumps producer Rob Letterman was asked how they plan to deal with characters from the first season in light of the upcoming sequel featuring a new cast. While he didn’t completely rule out a return, Letterman said, “Well, if I say we won’t ever go back, it might just bring about the opposite. To be honest, I don’t have any answers yet. However, never saying ‘never’ is always wise for things like this. You know, anything can happen with Goosebumps, and one of its wonderful aspects is that R.L Stein revisited a few stories in the past, such as Slappy.

In Goosebumps Season 1, Zack Morris, Isa Briones, Miles McKenna, and Ana Yi Puig were among the main actors. Conversely, Goosebumps: The Vanishing will primarily revolve around a fresh group of characters, including David Schwimmer, Ana Ortiz, Sam McCarthy, Jayden Bartels, and others.

On January 10, 2025, the much-anticipated premiere of “Goosebumps: The Vanishing” will take place on both Disney+ and Hulu at the same time.
