Google (GOOGL) Q2 2025 earnings results beat on revenue & EPS expectations

For the second quarter of 2025, Google, along with its parent company Alphabet, has shared their financial results. They excelled in key areas such as revenue and earnings per share (EPS), surpassing expectations for the given period.

This week, Google shared its Q2 2025 earnings report on its investor relations site. The company reported a total revenue of $96.4 billion for the quarter, surpassing the estimated $94 billion by Wall Street analysts. Additionally, they announced a diluted EPS of $2.31 per share, which was higher than both the $2.18 per share analyst prediction and the $2.21 per share Whisper Share estimate.

As an ardent fan, I can’t help but marvel at how Google has poured immense resources into crafting their AI products and services. The moment their AI model was employed to animate a Darth Vader chat in Fortnite, even for a brief period, it certainly garnered quite the buzz. Yet, what truly impresses me is how Google leverages these services to subtly tweak its search algorithm, shaping the results that users like me encounter daily.

With Google’s Q2 2025 in the books, stay tuned for more updates and news on the Google topic.
