Goat Simulator is getting a remake

As a seasoned gamer with over two decades of gaming under my belt, I must say that I’m quite intrigued by the upcoming Goat Simulator: Remastered. Having fond memories of my goaty escapades back in 2014, I can’t help but feel a nostalgic twinge at the prospect of revisiting those chaotic, bug-infested pastures.

Goat Simulator is getting a fresh makeover on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox platforms – a fact initially shared by Coffee Stain Studios at Gamescom Opening Night Live in August. We’ve been waiting, and now there’s an official launch date!

Will the remake be worth it?

The remake will include a handful of things, such as better graphics and a bunch of little bug fixes… only the boring ones, of course! All the messy and fun big bugs are obviously still in the game. What would it be without them?

They will also rework the Mutator Menu for better navigation.

To put it simply, the main point is that the remake we’re excited about will come packed with every DLC for the original game. This means you can expect Goat City Bay, Goat MMO, Goat Z, PAYDAY, Waste of Space, and Buck to School – all from the mobile version – in this complete collection.

Release date and price

On November 7, 2024, Goat Simulator: Remastered is set to launch across all platforms, but the price or even if there will be any cost associated with it remains unknown at this time. Given that it appears to be a standalone game featuring elements from previous versions, it’s reasonable to expect that it may carry a significant price tag.

We will keep you updated if any new information is published by Coffee Stain Studios or Steam!
