As a die-hard Gladiator fan who has been eagerly awaiting the sequel for what feels like an eternity, I must admit that the unveiling of the Gladiator II popcorn bucket left me absolutely thrilled! The Roman iconography and the grandiose gladiator helmet instantly transported me back to the days when Maximus ruled the Colosseum.
The design for the Gladiator II Popcorn Container has been unveiled, featuring a large helmet as a tribute to the ancient Roman gladiators in the Colosseum.
Regal Cinemas recently revealed their latest popcorn container on Instagram, which features Roman-themed decor and a prominent gladiator helmet atop it. This limited-edition bucket even includes a miniature drink container shaped like a helmet of drinkable size.
The collectible merchandise is set to be offered at Regal cinemas when the movie premieres on November 22, 2024. It’s not clear yet how scarce the buckets and cups will be, but considering their rising popularity among fans, it might be wise to grab one as soon as possible.

What do we know about Gladiator II?
In the sequel to Gladiator, titled Gladiator 2, Scott serves as the director, with David Scarpa penning the script. Ryan Mescal plays Lucius, a character who is Lucilla’s son and Emperor Commodus’ nephew – a role that was previously filled by Spencer Treat Clark in the initial movie.
As a game enthusiast, I’m excited to share that the upcoming sequel boasts an impressive ensemble cast. Among them are Denzel Washington, Pedro Pascal, Joseph Quinn, Fred Hechinger, May Calamawy, Lior Raz, and even more talented individuals. Notably, Connie Nielsen and Derek Jacobi will reprise their roles as Lucilla and Gracchus respectively from the previous installment.
In the continuation of the legendary director Ridley Scott’s grand tale, Gladiator II unfolds a story steeped in power struggles, political machinations, and revenge set against the backdrop of ancient Rome. It has been years since Lucius saw his beloved hero Maximus meet his untimely end at the hands of his treacherous uncle. With his own home seized by the ruthless emperors who now rule with a steel grip over Rome, Lucius is thrust into the Colosseum. Fueled by rage and determined to save Rome’s future, he seeks solace in his past memories, drawing upon strength and honor to restore the once-great empire to its former glory.
