The prospect of watching rhinos charging through the colosseum is almost too much to bear!
Here’s the trailer for the much-anticipated sequel, “Gladiator II”. It offers a sneak peek into the grand, sweeping battles that are promised in Ridley Scott’s upcoming masterpiece.
What happens in the Gladiator II trailer?
The latest trailer features more praise from early reviews of the film, calling it one of Ridley Scott’s best. In the footage, more fight scenes are shown off, including battles taking place inside the coliseum featuring animals like rhinoceros.
Gladiator II is officially set to release in theaters nationwide on November 22, 2024.

In the second installment of Gladiator, titled Gladiator II, Scott takes on the director’s role, with David Scarpa penning the script. Jack O’Connell steps into the lead as Lucius, a character who was previously played by Spencer Treat Clark in the original film. This Lucius is the son of Lucilla and the nephew of Emperor Commodus.
In addition to Denzel Washington, Pedro Pascal, Joseph Quinn, Fred Hechinger, May Calamawy, Lior Raz, and others, the upcoming sequel will also have these stars: Connie Nielsen reprising her role as Lucilla, and Derek Jacobi returning as Gracchus.
Directed by the acclaimed Ridley Scott, Gladiator II carries forward the grand tale of power struggles, deceit, and retribution in ancient Rome.
