Ghost of Yotei hot springs scene has fans praising Sucker Punch for not treating Atsu differently

Ghost of Yotei recreates the relaxing hot springs experience from Ghost of Tsushima, and players are commending Sucker Punch for giving Atsu the same treatment as Jin. Ghost of Yotei is available now on PlayStation 5 and offers a fantastic gameplay experience. While it shares many similarities with Tsushima, the most noticeable differences are the new location and its protagonist, Atsu. The actor who plays Atsu admitted it was “daunting” taking over from Jin, but fans are finding Atsu to be just as engaging, and perhaps even more so. Players are also happy that Sucker Punch has reintroduced the hot springs and hasn’t hesitated to portray Atsu with the same depth as Jin.

Ghost of Yotei fans praise Sucker Punch for hot springs scene

The hot springs quickly gained popularity in Ghost of Tsushima because they showed Jin’s entire back as he undressed and entered the warm water. There were 18 hot springs hidden throughout Tsushima, so players got to see Jin’s backside quite a few times – more than a dozen, in fact!

A lot of players were curious if the relaxing hot springs would make a return in Ghost of Yotei, and thankfully, they did! There are a few less this time around-only 16 to discover. Plus, Sucker Punch kept the same level of natural nudity that fans appreciated in previous games.

In Ghost of Yotei, the scene unfolds exactly like it does in Tsushima. You witness Atsu completely unclothed from the rear as she enters the water, and then she sits and contemplates, much like Jin does.
