As a die-hard fan of gritty action thrillers and Gerard Butler’s intense performances, I can hardly contain my excitement for the upcoming Den of Thieves 2: Pantera! Having grown up watching movies like Heat and The Italian Job, I find myself drawn to stories about high-stakes heists and the cat-and-mouse games between cops and criminals.
Lionsgate recently released the last trailer for “Den of Thieves 2: Pantera,” the upcoming action-packed sequel to the 2018 movie “Den of Thieves.” The film is set to hit cinemas on January 10, 2025.
In the official summary, we find that character Big Nick (Gerard Butler) is once again on the chase across Europe, tracking down Donnie (Jackson), who finds himself in the dangerous and unstable environment of diamond thieves and the notorious Panther mafia. Together, they are planning a grand heist targeting the world’s biggest diamond exchange.

What happens in the Den of Thieves 2: Pantera trailer?
The video hints at the comeback of Gerard Butler’s character Big Nick and O’Shea Jackson Jr.’s Donnie Wilson. It depicts Big Nick readying himself for a significant heist targeting the world’s largest diamond exchange, with other cast members such as Evin Ahmad, Meadow Williams, Salvatore Esposito, Swen Temmel, Michael Bisping, Orli Shuka, Cristian Solimeno, and others joining in on the action.
In the next chapter of Den of Thieves, titled Pantera, Christian Gudegast reprises his role as writer and director. It’s said that he immersed himself in the company of investigators and infamous thieves to get a feel for the sequel. The news about this upcoming film was shared in 2018 after the initial movie hit theaters, raking in an impressive $80 million globally. Produced by Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, along with returning producers Tucker Tooley and Alan Siegel, the production team also includes Meadow Williams from Diamond Films as an executive producer, alongside Glenn Feig.
