As a seasoned Witcher fan who has spent countless hours navigating the treacherous landscapes of The Continent, I must admit that the news about Geralt’s role in The Witcher 4 has left me both intrigued and bewildered.
After the triumph of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, CD Projekt Red is currently working on the next chapter in the Witcher series.
As a die-hard Witcher fan, I can’t help but feel a thrill of anticipation when it comes to The Witcher 4. Contrary to what one might assume, Geralt won’t be back in his usual role. Instead, the tale weaves a fresh narrative that promises to be just as captivating!
Geralt Won’t Be The Main Character
Doug Cockle, the voice actor for Geralt, took on a YouTube challenge where he aimed to recall his most memorable lines spoken as the White Wolf.
During the video, he talked about the upcoming Witcher anime on Netflix and the next Witcher game.
It has been verified that Geralt will appear again in the upcoming sequel of the series, however, he won’t take on the lead role.
What we know is that Geralt will be part of the game, we just don’t know how much. And the game won’t focus on Geralt, so it’s not about him this time.
Skip to 07:20 to hear the statement in question.
Hey there, fellow gamers! You can bet your last coin that I’m thrilled to pieces knowing Geralt’s comeback, whatever the form may be. All I’m asking for is another chance to see my all-time favorite Witcher in action! This news definitely took me by surprise, but hey, who am I to complain? Bring on the magic and monsters, I say!
