General Hospital’s Kirsten Storms on Leaving & Returning as Maxie

Kirsten Storms, who plays Maxie on General Hospital, is taking a break from the show for a while. She’ll be away temporarily before returning later this year. During her absence, the episodes featuring Maggie will once again be portrayed by Nicole Paggi, who last appeared as Maggie in December 2023.

Kirsten Storms on why she is leaving General Hospital temporarily

Through an update on her Instagram, Kirsten Storms has announced her temporary break from filming “General Hospital” for the rest of the year. She’ll be back for a short stint during the week of August 18, but she’ll be leaving not long after that. This break was something she had planned for some time.

She’s currently on a break due to her upcoming relocation from Los Angeles to Tennessee with her daughter Harper Rose Barash. She announced this change in her life through a posted video and expressed her excitement about starting a new life there. In her post, she mentioned that she can’t wait to get back to work at GH once she and her daughter are settled into their new town. Additionally, she plans on sharing as much of this new adventure on her social media platforms as possible, as moving to Tennessee has been a long-held dream of hers.
