In the latest installment, Joss and her companion Emma make their way to the hospital for Kai’s operation. Meanwhile, Vaughn approaches Joss privately to inquire about Professor Dalton’s bonus assignment progress. She discloses that Dalton employs a keycard to enter a specific hospital room, where he carried a briefcase. Additionally, she mentions that he subsequently met Anna at the Savoy. Vaughn appears intrigued by this information, and Emma later extends an invitation for Joss to join her at a gathering that night.
Emma collects all the necessary information for Professor Dalton’s position. Later, Joss talks quietly with Vaughn near the elevator, asking him to aid her in obtaining a USB drive. She suggests they duplicate and tamper with the data, erase any traceable files, and return it to Emma without her realizing it.
Vaughn ponders if she’s truly comfortable with deceiving her friend, Emma. Alongside Joss, she’s devised a strategic move which seemingly contradicts Emma’s interests. However, she aims to carry out this plan covertly, hoping Emma remains unaware.
