Gen V Season 2 trailer and poster bring back Marie Moreau’s team
On September 17, 2025, the second season of the widely acclaimed satirical series, Gen V, is set to premiere, as confirmed by its poster and trailer release. The teaser trailer hints at what viewers can expect when the show returns for another season. It’s reported that this season will consist of eight episodes.
Here are the first three episodes set to air on September 17 for the season opener. The rest of the episodes will be released one at a time each week, culminating in the Season 2 finale on October 22, 2025.
The Season 2 preview suggests that Marie Moreau (Jaz Sinclair) and several other key characters could find themselves confined within Elmira Adult Rehabilitation Center – a place where Marie would have presumably been sent if she hadn’t enrolled in God U earlier. Upon their return to Godolkin, they are shocked by the extensive changes that have occurred there.
In the second season, the tagline is ‘Cate and Sam are acclaimed heroes, yet Marie, Jordan, and Emma find it difficult to go back to college, weighed down by months of turmoil and heartache. The joy of parties and lessons seem insignificant when tension between Humans and Supers grows, both within the school walls and beyond.
As I delve deeper into the mysteries of Godolkin University, an intriguing revelation unfolds: there exists a clandestine program with roots tracing back to the institution’s very inception. This secret endeavor, I believe, could hold implications far beyond what we currently comprehend. And remarkably, it seems that Marie is somehow entwined within this enigma.
We have never been more back. Gen V Season 2 premieres September 17.

For Gen V Season 2, Hamish Linklater joins the cast as Dean Cipher, taking over as the head of Godolkin. Sadly, Chance Perdomo, who played Andre Anderson, passed away in a motorcycle accident in March 2024 during travel for filming Season 2. The producers announced on social media in May 2024 that they will not replace Perdomo’s character and instead will pay tribute to him and his memory throughout Season 2.
