In just a few weeks, we’ll see the debut of Nintendo Switch 2, and some enthusiasts are doing their best to reserve a unit beforehand. As the release date nears, GameStop has given hope to fans who missed the pre-orders, assuring them that they might still get a Switch 2 on its launch day.
GameStop announced on X that they’ll be offering more Nintendo Switch 2 units both online and in-stores from June 5th. The exact amount each store has may vary, so eager fans can start queuing up as of midnight on the 5th to potentially purchase one.
Didn’t pre-order Switch 2? We got you.

Two pre-orders caused several online retailers’ sites to crash, and it’s anticipated that the console will be difficult to acquire at its launch. GameStop has now joined Best Buy in announcing extra stock available on the first day of release.
If you’re yet to secure a pre-order for the Switch 2, don’t lose heart! Even if you’ve already managed to get one, there’s good news – Nintendo has officially announced the lineup of Switch games set to receive free upgrades for the new console.
