The director expressed his eagerness to provide the initial critique for the movie, stating that the first half and the climax left him utterly amazed.

He said the flashback episode in the second half of the movie left him stunned. He described that it was just phenomenal. Sukumar further added that he enjoyed it as much as Shankar’s other films like Indian and Gentleman.

Sukumar commented, “The first part was fantastic. The interval was thrilling, truly remarkable. Take my word for it. The second half had a flashback sequence that sent chills down my spine, absolutely brilliant. I found it as engaging as Shankar’s Gentleman and Bharateeyudu (Indian films).

The director additionally voiced his wish that Ram Charan could receive a National Award for his acting in Rangasthalam. Regrettably, this didn’t occur; however, he still thinks that the movie may realize this aspiration of his.
