Galactus’ Goal in Fantastic Four Revealed in New Clip

A fresh snippet from “The Fantastic Four: First Steps” reveals Galactus’ intentions towards Reed Richards and his kin within the film. This movie serves as the introduction of the Fantastic Four in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, also paving the way for Galactus’ appearance. The production is orchestrated by Marvel Studios and features Vanessa Kirby, Pedro Pascal, Joseph Quinn, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach in pivotal roles.

What Galactus really wants in Fantastic Four revealed

Marvel Studios recently shared a fresh snippet from The Fantastic Four: First Steps, named “Are We Safe?”, hinting at Galactus’ objective within the film.

The video opens with the Fantastic Four at a press conference, led by Reed Richards (played by Pedro Pascal). In this scene, you’ll notice the Human Torch, The Thing, and Reed in their spacesuits. Interestingly, Sue Storm is standing nearby in regular clothing, cradling Franklin Richards, their son, who is also present.

In a different wording: The journalist inquires from Reed, “Could you walk us through your victory over Galactus?” However, Reed appears to struggle with an answer and instead looks towards The Thing, who then discloses that they had not actually defeated Galactus.

Later on, Reed explains that they had attempted to bargain with Galactus, expressing, “We made an effort to negotiate, but Galactus… he demanded a price that was too steep.” The reporters then inquire about what exactly Galactus was asking for, and he replies, “He asked for our offspring.

The arrival of Galactus on Earth was made known through Silver Surfer Shalla-Bal, who was represented by Julia Garner in the storyline. The Fantastic Four: First Steps narrative presents Galactus as the toughest test that the team has ever encountered. In the film, Galactus is played by Ralph Ineson.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Pascal mentioned that the level of danger Galactus presents is unlike anything Reed Richards has ever encountered before.
