FX’s Alien Series Officially Wraps Production

As a hardcore sci-fi and horror gaming enthusiast with over two decades of experience under my belt, I can’t help but feel excited about the latest development in the Alien franchise. Sydney Chandler’s confirmation that production on FX’s new series has finally wrapped up is music to my ears!

As a gamer, I’m excited to share that after six long months of filming in Thailand, I can finally confirm that production on FX’s Alien series is wrapped up! In this new show, I’ll be stepping into the shoes of the leading character, Wendy – a meta-human with an intriguing twist. Instead of having the typical adult mindset, Wendy’s consciousness remains that of a child. Can’t wait for you all to join me on this unique journey!

Who is involved in FX’s Alien series?

In addition to Chandler, the new Alien project will feature Timothy Olyphant as Kirsh, Alex Lawther portraying soldier CJ, Kit Young in the role of Tootles, Samuel Blenkin as Boy Kavalier, Essie Davis playing Dame Silvia, Adarsh Gourav as Slightly, and David Rysdahl and Moe Bar-El joining the cast. This Alien spin-off, marking the first story on Earth, is penned and helmed by Hawley. Noah Hawley, Scott, and Dana Gonzales serve as executive producers, with Chris Lowenstein producing.

The specifics of its storyline are yet to be revealed, but it’s said to be a prequel and takes place before the films starring Sigourney Weaver. According to reports, the new series by Hawley doesn’t include any elements from Prometheus or Alien: Covenant.
