FUTURA 2000 Explores Movement and Connection in ‘The Mechanical Age’

2000 FUTURA’s upcoming solo exhibition titled “The Mechanical Age” is slated to debut at V1 Gallery’s Copenhagen location. The exhibit will feature an arresting duo – “Sister” and “Brother“, two impressive pieces in red, white, and black, crafted with aerosol on prepared canvas from 2025. These artworks set the stage for the show’s theme, emphasizing movement, repetition, and interconnectedness.

The artist carries on this investigation with “Husband” and “Wife”. These composition resembling atoms are painted using aerosol on canvas, resulting in a vibrant pulse and rhythm that feels harmonious yet free-flowing. Collectively, these works spark a feeling of unity and recurring exchange, symbolizing how relationships reflect the interplay of mutual influences in a common world.

During the entire duration of the exhibition, FUTURA invites visitors to immerse themselves in a multi-layered, cosmic atmosphere. Shapes subtly change their focus, oscillating between permanence and transience, implying a world where everything is dynamic yet interconnected. The exhibition titled “The Mechanical Age” will run from May 5 to April 24.
