As a hardcore Mad Max fan with years of experience under my belt, I’m beyond excited about the upcoming release of “Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga” in its black and chrome edition! I’ve watched every installment of this post-apocalyptic masterpiece multiple times, and each one has left me in awe of George Miller’s vision.
Warner Bros. Discovery has declared that the “Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga” Black & Chrome Edition will be available digitally and in 4K Ultra High Definition on a specific release date.
The “Mad Max: Fury Road” Black & Chrome Version is a rendition of George Miller’s theatrically produced film, now devoid of color and enhanced with a monochromatic black and chrome visual effect.
When will Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga Black & Chrome Edition be released?
Starting August 13, 2024, the black-and-chrome variation of “Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga” can be digitally owned through Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, Google Play, and other similar platforms. Later on, this edition will be up for sale in 4K UHD format starting September 24, 2024.

Starting August 13, 2024, Warner Bros. Discovery is making it possible for customers to buy the digital version of a five-film collection featuring Mad Max on platforms like Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, and Google Play, among others. Later in the year, on September 24, 2024, a physical 4K Collector’s Edition of the Mad Max 5-Film Collection will be up for sale.
Among the films in our collection are the original Mad Max from 1979, its sequel The Road Warrior (released in 1981), Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome from 1985, and the more recent additions Mad Max: Fury Road (2015) and Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga (expected release in 2024). Additionally, we have the black andchrome editions of Mad Max: Fury Road and Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga.
In the chaos that ensued, 18-year-old Furiosa was abducted from the Sacred Place of Many Mothers and taken captive by a powerful Biker Gang ruled by the despot Dementus. Traveling across the barren Wasteland, they stumbled upon the Citadel, where The Immortan Joe held sway.
