It’s undeniable that 2024 stood out as a stellar year for Netflix films. Regardless of your preferred movie genre – be it romantic comedies, action flicks, or award-winning dramas – Netflix catered to every taste. And just like before, Netflix aims to carry on this tradition in 2025 by unveiling some of its most exceptional films yet.
Before the New Year’s Eve ball drops, Netflix has already unveiled launch dates for several highly anticipated movies set to debut in 2025. In January, Cameron Diaz and Jamie Foxx join forces in the action-comedy “Back in Action,” while Millie Bobby Brown and Chris Pratt ignite excitement with the sci-fi blockbuster “The Electric State” directed by the Russo Brothers in March.
For enthusiasts of “The Witcher”, there’s an exciting break coming up: instead of season 4, a new animated movie titled “The Witcher: Sirens of the Deep” is due out in February to tide us over. If you’re craving more animation, prepare for the return of Wallace and Gromit with their latest film “Vengeance Most Fowl“, set to debut at the beginning of the year. In 2025, we can expect Tom Hardy to take center stage in the film “Havoc”, and Oscar Isaac and Jacob Elordi will shine in Guillermo del Toro’s adaptation of “Frankenstein”.
