According to developer CyberConnect2, the game titled “Fuga: Melodies of Steel 3” is scheduled to be released on various platforms including PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and Microsoft Store on May 29 this year.
At the initial release, players can expect to choose from English, French, and Japanese languages for the game. Later on, Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese will also become available.
Fuga Melodies Of Steel
In this game, the kids from Malt, who mysteriously disappeared, are your characters. Upon discovering the Taranis – an allegedly powerful tank believed swallowed by the sea of clouds, Malt’s children embark on a quest to penetrate deep into the core of the Berman Empire.
However, the Crimson Knights stand in their way, strongest of the Berman!
New battles and upgraded features
The third installment of the Fuga series features:
- A brand-new battle system: “Weakness combos” allow you to exploit enemy weaknesses and deal escalating damage with every hit, while assist attacks allow erstwhile enemies and a legendary warrior from past games to join forces and turn the tide of battle.
- An upgraded intermission: An upgraded system to evolve the Taranis to its ultimate form is featured in the new game.
- A strategic route progression and event battles: You can explore new strategic features like Power Spots to unlock the Taranis’s hidden abilities and Assist Transmissions that allow you to interact with supporting characters.
Deluxe Edition
In addition to the regular edition of the game, there’s also a more advanced version called the Deluxe Edition. Plus, you have the option to enhance your standard edition into a Deluxe Edition by purchasing the Upgrade Pack.
The Deluxe Edition features:
Fuga: Melodies of Steel 3 full game
- Fuga: Melodies of Steel 3 digital art book with 80 pages (available in Japanese / English)
- Fuga: Melodies of Steel 3 digital soundtrack with 15 tracks
- Soccer costumes for all characters (In-game bonus)
- Dummy Soul for the Soul Cannon (In-game bonus)
- Set of items (In-game bonus)
In Japan, CyberConnec2 plans to launch both a physical version for Nintendo Switch and a “Fuga: Melodies of Steel Trilogy Box” which encompasses all three games from the trilogy in their physical versions as well.
Would you prefer to purchase the Premium Version of the game? I’m curious about your opinions on enhanced or premium editions of games in general.
