Disney has formally announced the launch dates for several forthcoming films, such as the much-awaited “Frozen III” and Pixar’s subsequent animated production titled “Hoppers”.
What are the Frozen 3 and Hoppers release dates?
Disney has revealed that Frozen III is now scheduled to hit theaters on November 24, 2027, while Hocus Pocus 3, or Hoppers as you might know it, is planned for release on March 6, 2026. The debut of Frozen III was initially slated for 2026, but has been delayed by a year.
At the recent D23 event, it was officially revealed that “Hoppers” is Pixar’s upcoming film. The star-studded cast includes Jon Hamm, Bobby Moynihan, and Piper Curda. In this animated adventure, a young girl enters a robot beaver’s body to infiltrate the animal kingdom.
In Frozen III, details are scarce, but Frozen II featured the comeback of actors Kristen Bell, Idina Menzel, and Josh Gad, alongside new cast members Sterling K. Brown and Evan Rachel Wood. The film was helmed by directors Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck and hit theaters in 2019, earning a staggering $1.453 billion at the box office.
In June, Pixar’s Pete Docter shared details about their future projects with Entertainment Weekly. He unveiled that they have two new movies in development, one of which is Elio, a film from Coco co-director Adrian Molina. Following this, Toy Story 5, scheduled for release on June 19, 2026, will come out. After Toy Story 5, Docter mentioned that more original Pixar films are in the works.
