As a seasoned gamer with years of battling bosses and traversing labyrinthine worlds under my belt, I can confidently say that FromSoftware has consistently proven itself to be a beacon of excellence in the gaming industry. Their latest announcement of wage increases for their employees is not only a testament to their financial success but also a reflection of their commitment to their team.
In April 2025, FromSoftware – known for creating Elden Ring and the Dark Souls series – has declared that they will be boosting salaries for their current staff members and future hires. This decision comes on the heels of a successful financial and critical run for the studio, following the launches of Elden Ring and Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon.
In a recent announcement, FromSoftware has revealed that they’ll be boosting employee salaries. The salary hike will amount to 11.8% once it takes effect. For new graduates, their starting pay will jump from 260,000 Yen to 300,000 Yen.
Just got my hands on the latest expansion from FromSoftware – Shadow of the Erdtree – for the epic action RPG Elden Ring I’ve been hooked on! This expansion has taken the game to a whole new level, and now they’re celebrating because more than five million gamers like me have jumped into this fantastical world. Can’t wait to see where Elden Ring goes from here!
