What happens in the Freedom trailer?

This movie presents Bravo, a renowned burglar, who’s successfully executed several heists without relying on his gun. Notably, it also explores his romantic relationship with Thalie, his partner in crime. The film originates from Mélanie Laurent, the French actress recognized for her roles in Don’t Worry, I’m Fine, Inglorious Basterds, and Now You See Me.

The film’s synopsis introduces Freedom, a movie based on the thrilling tale of Bruno Sulak, a smooth-talking, daring felon reminiscent of a notorious French outlaw during the late 1970s and early 1980s. With his charisma and skill, Sulak orchestrated daring heists without resorting to violence. However, as his fame spread, so did the determined pursuit of George Moréas, a cunning police commissioner known for outwitting criminals. As Moréas closes in, Sulak’s daring prison escapes became legendary, driven by his longing for freedom and his passionate love for Annie. In the midst of their criminal escapades, Sulak and Annie emerged as the ultimate embodiments of rebellion, engaging in an electrifying game of cat-and-mouse that captivated the nation.

Laurent directs the film titled ‘Freedom,’ which she co-authored with Chris Deslandes. The star-studded cast includes Léa Luce Busato, Yvan Attal, Rasha Vukvic, Steve Tientcheu, David Murgia, Léo Chalié, and Slimane Dazi. Alain Goldman is responsible for its production.
