As we commemorate what would have been his hundredth year, the Akkineni family is honoring him by organizing a film festival known as ANR 100. It’s not often that you get another opportunity to see classic movies featuring the big screen years after their initial release. But remarkably, the Akkineni family has devised an exciting initiative for fans of Akkineni Nageswara Rao, allowing them to revisit his films.

Working together with Annapoorna Studios, Film Heritage Foundation, and the National Film Archive of India, the Akkineni family has arranged a film festival where fans can re-watch some of his timeless classics for free. These unique screenings will take place in various theaters across multiple cities, allowing fans to experience once more and rejoice in the cinematic magic through the captivating performances of Nageswara Rao.

On the popular platform, formerly known as Twitter, there’s been a buzz about an upcoming event that has been going on for quite some time now. The post also reveals the movies selected for a second run during this period. The event is set to take place from September 20th through the 22nd.

A selection of movies that are being considered for re-release includes Devadasu, Missamma, Mayabazar, Bharya Bharthalu, Gundamma Katha, Sudigundalu, Prema Nagar, and additional titles.
