Freakier Friday’s Lindsay Lohan Talks Guitar Solo, Character Growth

As a gaming enthusiast, I’m super excited to spill the beans! The one and only Lindsay Lohan, who played Anna in that unforgettable movie “Freakier Friday” back in 2003, has finally shared some juicy details about her return for the long-awaited sequel. Get ready to mark your calendars, because it’s set to premiere on August 8, 2025! Can’t wait!

In the movie, Anna is a mother for the first time and also about to become a stepparent. As they both deal with the complexities of blending their families, Tess and Anna find out that love may just happen twice in a lifetime. (This version maintains the original storyline but uses simpler language to make it more accessible.)

Lindsay Lohan teases Anna’s growth in Freakier Friday

In a recent chat with Empire, Lohan talked about how her character evolved – from a defiant teenager in the initial movie, to a mom of a teenage girl in the new Freakier Friday.

Lohan stated, “The world seems transformed, as everything revolves around one’s child. However, it’s crucial to find time for personal pursuits and self-realization. Mothers often struggle with balancing responsibilities, and that’s the situation Anna finds herself in.

Moreover, Lohan hinted at the comeback of her famous punk rock band, Pink Slip. This suggests that fans can look forward to watching her perform another electrifying guitar solo.

Anna, that rebellious girl, is still around,” she went on. “As soon as I resumed my guitar lessons, it felt like no time had passed. Everything was the same: the guitar, the setup. It seemed like just yesterday. We’ve made her solo more challenging this time. I’m such a stickler for perfection; we practiced extensively.
