As a long-time wrestling fan with decades of memories etched deep into my heart, I can’t help but feel a twinge of nostalgia as I watch the landscape of professional wrestling shift. The recent departures of Bobby Lashley, Ricochet, and MVP from WWE have left many of us fans questioning what the future holds for these talented individuals.
Of late, WWE has witnessed departures of notable figures like Bobby Lashley (former WWE Champion), MVP, and Ricochet (ex-United States Champion). Specifically, Ricochet’s deal with WWE concluded in July, rendering him an unrestricted talent in the industry.
After Bron Breakker wrote off Ricochet from WWE TV in June, before his contract ended, many assumed he would join AEW. However, it’s now confirmed that Ricochet has signed a multi-year agreement with All Elite Wrestling and is set to appear at this Sunday’s AEW All In event taking place in London.

From my perspective as a gaming enthusiast (or wrestling fan, if you will), it’s been buzzing around that Bobby Lashley and MVP have bid adieu to the WWE world. The rumors are rife that Lashley could potentially join AEW post his exit, which has sparked whispers that MVP might follow suit and make the leap too.
Recently, I was thrilled to find out that MVP graced Bloodsport XI with an unexpected appearance. During this event, he dropped a bombshell by announcing the end of his WWE contract and stating he wouldn’t be coming back. On top of that, MVP issued a challenge to Josh Barnett for a match! This put an end to all the speculation regarding a potential reunion between MVP and Lashley. Meanwhile, MVP has been quite active on the independent wrestling circuit. As for Bobby Lashley, who just recently saw his WWE contract expire, he’s shared his post-WWE plans.

Bobby Lashley, a former WWE Champion, has talked about his post-WWE career intentions in an interview on The Bo And Them Show. He mentioned his desire to explore wrestling, boxing, mixed martial arts (MMA), and acting.
He explained that he’s currently juggling multiple tasks. His non-profit work with children is something he cherishes and feels it’s important to give back. In addition, he’s deeply involved in real estate, collaborating with Texas-based professionals to transfer some of his properties there. He hasn’t lost his passion for wrestling either – he still wants to compete and the fans’ daily messages asking about his return and whereabouts only fuel that desire.
With Bobby Lashley, the ex-WWE Champion, now leaving the promotion behind, it’s intriguing to contemplate where his exceptional journey in wrestling may lead him next.
