Fixed Netflix Release Date Set for Genndy Tartakovsky’s Star-Studded Movie

At last, the official release date on Netflix for Genndy Tartakovsky’s much-anticipated mature animated comedy film has been set.

In August 2024, Warner Bros. and New Line Cinema unexpectedly withdrew from the project due to Warner Bros. Discovery’s cost-reduction efforts. Consequently, prior to the Netflix agreement, the movie’s distribution rights were transferred to Sony Pictures Animation.

When is the Fixed Netflix release date?

The streaming of the movie titled “Fixed” is set to begin on August 13, 2025, only on Netflix. This film boasts an impressive cast that includes Adam Devine as Bull, Idris Elba as Rocco, Kathryn Hahn as Honey, Bobby Moynihan as Lucky, Fred Armisen as Fetch, Beck Bennett as Sterling, Michelle Buteau as Molasses, and River Gallo as Frankie.

The story revolves around Bull, an ordinary, well-loved dog who learns that tomorrow morning he will be neutered. As the reality of this significant change sinks in, Bull decides to embark on one last exciting adventure with his loyal group of friends before saying goodbye to certain aspects of his masculinity. However, one can only imagine what mishaps may arise during these final 24 hours!

The rated-R movie is helmed by Genndy Tartakovsky, who collaborated with Jon Vitti on the scriptwriting, building upon a narrative concept developed jointly with Steve Greenberg and Rich Lufrano. The production is overseen by Michelle Murdocca and Christian Roedel. This film represents Tartakovsky’s first directorial endeavor in feature-length projects since his work on Hotel Transylvania: Transformia, three years prior. Notably, Tartakovsky is renowned for producing Dexter’s Laboratory, Samurai Jack, Star Wars: Clone Wars, and Primal, which garnered him two Emmy Awards in the categories of Outstanding Individual Achievement in Animation and Outstanding Animated Program.
