As a comic book enthusiast with a soft spot for the Fantastic Four, I can hardly contain my excitement about the upcoming movie, “The Fantastic Four: First Steps.” The recent promo art featuring Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm is just another tantalizing glimpse into this highly-anticipated project.
The upcoming film titled “The Fantastic Four: First Steps” introduces Marvel’s original family on screen. With excitement building for this production, there appears to be a recently surfaced promotional artwork from the movie available online.

A promotional artwork, showcasing the main quartet from The Fantastic Four: First Steps ensemble, was spotted at a limited edition stickers distribution during the Disney Celebra Christmas concert in Argentina. The picture displays Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards / Mister Fantastic standing prominently at the center, with his hands clasped on his chest. Above Reed’s shoulder is Vanessa Kirby, portraying Sue Storm / Invisible Woman, with her hand outstretched and an energy orb swirling around her palm.

In the picture, both Joseph Quinn’s portrayal of Johnny Storm/Human Torch and Ebon Moss-Bachrach’s depiction of Ben Grimm/The Thing are included. The Human Torch is shown engulfed in flames and soaring through the air, much like his comic book counterpart, while The Thing exudes the power and emotion typically connected to the character.
Recently, Marvel unveiled the initial sketches and emblem hinting at a vintage atmosphere. This was further solidified when the official plot summary was revealed: “In a 1960s-inspired, futuristic world with a retro feel, The Fantastic Four: First Steps introduces Marvel’s founding family – Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic, Sue Storm/Invisible Woman, Johnny Storm/Human Torch, and Ben Grimm/The Thing. These characters will be tested as they confront their toughest challenge yet.
Matt Shakman, known for WandaVision, led the direction of this production, with a script penned by Jeff Kaplan, Ian Springer, Cameron Squires, Josh Friedman, Peter Cameron, and Eric Pearson. Apart from the previously named actors, you’ll find Ralph Ineson portraying Galactus, Julia Garner stepping into the roles of Shalla-Bal / Silver Surfer, among others.
Filming for “The Fantastic Four: First Steps” started in July 2024. By November 2024, Marvel Cinematic Universe head, Kevin Feige, revealed that they were set to conclude shooting on the film within a week.
The Fantastic Four: First Steps debuts in U.S. theaters on July 25, 2025.
