Can’t wait to see what awaits us in this terrifying world!

Five Nights At Freddy’s 2 poster revealed at CCXP MX 2025

During the CCXP event in Mexico on June 1, 2025, Blumhouse and Universal Pictures debuted the initial poster for Five Nights at Freddy’s 2.

The follow-up movie of FNAF2 will be available exclusively in cinemas on December 5, 2025. This was announced by Blumhouse via their official post on X (previously Twitter): “Note this down. #FNAF2Movie will only be shown in theaters on December 5.” The declaration was made during an event that celebrated Blumhouse’s 15th anniversary, where they also revealed a new trailer for The Black Phone sequel and sneak peeks of M3GAN 2.0.

In a follow-up move, Emma Tammi is back to direct Five Nights at Freddy’s 2, following the video game series created by Scott Cawthon. Jason Blum and Cawthon themselves are reprising their roles as producers for this sequel. The initial movie, launched in 2023, raked in approximately $292 million globally. Despite garnering mostly unfavorable reviews, it shattered streaming records on Peacock. With these reviews, it managed to become the highest-grossing title ever produced by Blumhouse Productions.

In the upcoming film, Josh Hutcherson, Elizabeth Lail, Piper Rubio, and Matthew Lillard will once again take on their characters from the previous movie. The sequel was filmed in New Orleans over the 2024-2025 New Year season. The creators have upped the ante by introducing fresh faces to the storyline, such as Toy Freddy and Balloon Boy. As of now, they’ve kept the specific plot details under wraps.

In the initial movie, we trailed Mike (Josh Hutcherson) as he commenced a night security role at the eerie Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria. It was here that the spirits of children who had been slain inhabited the animatronic mascots. The sequel delves further into the chilling tale centered around this haunted amusement spot.

Moreover, it’s confirmed that the Five Nights at Freddy’s series is set to appear at Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights towards the end of this year.
