On RAW, Finn Balor, head of The Judgment Day, responded following Dominik Mysterio’s blunder that led to the loss of the WWE Intercontinental Championship. For quite some time now, there has been a growing friction between Balor and Mysterio.
About three weeks back, Balor and The Judgment Day encountered Intercontinental Champion Bron Breakker. Last Monday on WWE RAW, Mysterio told Balor he had arranged a title fight for him after chatting with RAW’s General Manager Adam Pearce. He added that Pearce was holding off on making it official, waiting for Balor to confirm.
After our spat seemed to be sorted out with a friendly hug from Finn Bálor, things appeared to be cool between us, Dominik Mysterio. But just before Finn was set to face Breakker, old feelings resurfaced. Dominik suggested to me, Finn Bálor, that we bring in Penta as a temporary member of The Judgment Day while JD McDonagh’s away. This move could potentially stir up more trouble within our group.
Surprised, Finn Bálor asked Dominik Mysterio why he wanted to bring someone on board who aimed at the Intercontinental Championship. This week, after defeating Ludwig Kaiser, Penta made it plain that he was aiming for the title. Annoyed, Bálor labeled Mysterio a snake and left in a huff.

In the heat of the game, Balor was just about to clinch victory when Dominik Mysterio intervened, causing him to lose the championship. Following his defeat, Balor posted a picture from the match, highlighting the instant where Mysterio’s actions led to his loss, and included a snake emoji as a symbol of deceit or trickery.
Dominik Mysterio’s inferences cost Finn Bálor the WWE Intercontinental title
During the fight, when Finn Bálor was preparing to execute his final move against Bron Breakker by scaling the top rope, Carlito from The Judgment Day unexpectedly jumped into the ring and caused the referee to be distracted. Taking advantage of the situation, Dominik Mysterio attempted to push Breakker away from the turnbuckles but inadvertently knocked Bálor down awkwardly instead.
Enraged against Dominik Mysterio, Bálor lost concentration, providing an opening for Bron Breakker. Taking advantage of this, Breakker pushed Mysterio off the platform, before concentrating on Bálor, delivering a Frankensteiner and a Spear to maintain his championship title.
As anticipation grows for The Judgment Day, the upcoming clash between Balor and Mysterio promises to be intriguing next week.
