As a long-time fan with over two decades of watching The Bold and the Beautiful under my belt, I can confidently say that the soap opera has a knack for turning even the most innocuous moments into dramatic storylines. This week’s Brooke’s Bedroom event is no exception, as Hope and Finn’s friendship seems poised to create another stir.
Spoilers ahead for this week’s The Bold and the Beautiful episodes
As a gamer, I can’t help but feel the tension between Hope and Finn’s friendship in ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’. The upcoming week of September 23rd promises another instance where their bond might seem innocent to some, but it’s bound to set Steffy’s nerves on edge.
Based on leaks, it seems there will be another Brooke’s Bedroom episode coming up for viewers. Previously, significant events have centered around this brand, such as the introduction of Rebecca Budig’s portrayal of Taylor Hayes in Monaco, and Hope’s awkward mistake when she unexpectedly kissed Finn during a party celebrating the line.
It appears that the couple concealed their connection to the band, as they will be growing closer on the September 27th episode of the soap opera. Kaleo’s frontman, Jökull Júliusson, is scheduled to perform during Brooke’s photoshoot, revealing Finn and Hope’s mutual interest in the band. Although friends often share common interests, this development might complicate matters as they are supposed to keep their distance from each other.
Steffy made it clear to Hope that any hint of wrongdoing would result in HFTF ending at Forrester Creations. Aware that Steffy wasn’t joking, Hope decided to keep her distance from Finn. She even told him so when they met at Il Giardino. However, the allure of music can be strong. If they find themselves grooving to Júliusson’s “Way Down We Go,” it might be hard for Hope to resist joining in and Finn not objecting to that.
It seems clear that Steffy will object due to her telling Hope to stay away from her husband. I think it’s likely that she believes their friendship should end, and they should merely acknowledge each other cordially like strangers would. However, given Brooke’s hope that Finn could reconcile Steffy and Hope, this unlikely scenario might not occur.
Frankly speaking, he shouldn’t get involved. I don’t think Hope’s kiss is what led Steffy to be held hostage by Luna. People make choices based on their own circumstances. However, it’s clear that whenever Steffy has conflicts with either Hope or Sheila, Finn’s interference doesn’t seem to benefit him. Instead, it puts a strain on their marriage and often requires another apology for not heeding her advice.
It’s obvious that Hope and Finn share a common interest in music, but given the history of their show with Steffy’s reaction to Finn’s embrace with Sheila, I wouldn’t be surprised if the writers choose to make a big dramatic moment out of this shared interest for some soap opera-worthy dialogue delivery.
