Today’s Final Jeopardy clue is presented here: Thursday, June 19, 2025. It was a close match with low scores, but Jacob Hale emerged as the latest Jeopardy champion, having taken over from Wednesday’s episode. Unfortunately, no one managed to answer yesterday’s Final Jeopardy question about American homes correctly, and Hale walked away with $4,800. In tonight’s game, he will face writer Bevin Blaber from New York and physician Vivek Upadhyay from New Jersey. Here is the question and the answer for today’s Final Jeopardy, along with their wagers and the winner of the game.
Final Jeopardy Question for June 19
On June 19, 2025, the final trivia question in the Jeopardy! game will be about U.S. National Parks. The hint for this question reads:
Much of this 73-square-mile National Park is located beneath the Chihuahuan Desert
The right response to this US geography question can be found at the bottom of this article.
Final Jeopardy Wagers and Winner for June 19
In an unusual turn of events, today’s Jeopardy game was extremely tight, yet Bevin emerged victorious because she didn’t wager as aggressively as her opponents. A few contestants came very close to the correct response, but they stumbled slightly on the spelling.
Initially, Jacob and Bevin had $13,600 each in their accounts before the game segment. Jacob wagered his entire amount on “Carlsbad Cavrans,” which turned out to be incorrect, resulting in him walking away with nothing and finishing in third place. On the other hand, Bevin correctly guessed a part of the answer as “Carlsbad” but lost $13,000 due to her mistake, leaving her with $600. Surprisingly, this small amount was sufficient for Bevin to secure the first-place victory in the competition.
As an enthusiast, I put almost all I had, a whopping $11,998 out of my total $12,000, on the response “Arches” in the game we were playing. That left me with just $2 as my prize for coming in second place.
Final Jeopardy Answer for June 19
The correct answer for Final Jeopardy on June 19, 2025 is “What is Carlsbad Caverns National Park?”
Some of the competitors came close to the correct answer, just dancing around it slightly. Given that U.S. National Parks might seem obscure, it’s still worth knowing quite a bit about them since they often appear on Jeopardy. Carlsbad Caverns National Park is found in New Mexico and boasts limestone caves hidden beneath the Chihuahuan Desert. Approximately 17 bat species inhabit this park’s ecosystem. It was designated as a National Park in 1930, and it was added to the World Heritage Site list in 1995.
