Final Destination Bloodlines Box Office Predicted to Be Franchise’s Highest

Final Destination Bloodlines is anticipated to set a new record for the highest opening in the franchise at the cinema. This film, helmed by directors Zach Lipovsky and Adam Stein, will be released in theaters on May 16, 2025. The ensemble cast includes Brec Bassinger, Tony Todd, Richard Harmon, Kaitlyn Santa Juana, and Owen Joyner, along with several other talented actors.

Final Destination Bloodlines could record biggest box office opening for franchise

Based on a Deadline report, it’s anticipated that the movie commonly referred to as “Final Destination 6” will open with record-breaking earnings within the franchise at the U.S. box office, potentially earning between $35 million and $40 million.

Furthermore, the report predicts that the movie could earn approximately $70 million at the worldwide box office during its premiere. This projected amount surpasses the opening revenues of the last five films.

The Final Destination series, now around a quarter-century old, has consistently been one of the top performers. Compared to the initial film, Final Destination: Bloodlines (released in 2003), the first movie that debuted in 2000 opened with an $11 million take and eventually grossed $112 million during its entire run.

In its debut weekend, Final Destination 2 grossed $16 million and ultimately made more than $90 million. The third installment started with a $20 million opening and accumulated a total of $118 million. The fourth part kicked off with an opening of $27 million and amassed approximately $187 million worldwide. Released in 2011, Final Destination 5 began with earnings of $18 million and collected over $157 million at the box office during its release.
