Fear Street: Prom Queen Poster Sets Netflix Release Date Window

As a seasoned gamer and horror movie enthusiast with a soft spot for the ’80s setting, I must admit my excitement is at an all-time high! Netflix has just announced that Fear Street: Prom Queen will be gracing our screens in 2025, and as someone who devoured every single installment of the first trilogy last year, I can’t help but feel like I’ve been waiting an eternity for this moment.

Netflix has announced when you can expect the fourth installment, titled “Fear Street: Prom Queen“, in the Fear Street movie franchise to hit your screens.

As a thrilled fan, I’m excited to share that my upcoming adventure will be titled “Fear Street: Prom Queen” and it’s nestled between the initial three installments of this chilling saga: “Fear Street Part One: 1994”, “Fear Street Part Two: 1978”, and “Fear Street Part Three: 1666”. These spine-tingling movies, adapted from R. L. Stine’s iconic book series, graced our Netflix screens last July.

Matt Palmer, known for Calibre, took charge of directing “Fear Street: Prom Queen,” which is an adaptation of R.L. Stine’s 1992 novel “The Prom Queen.” This is the initial time that the franchise has chosen to adapt one of Stine’s books.

When is the Netflix release date window for Fear Street: Prom Queen?

The freshly unveiled poster hints at a future launch of the film, slated for some point in 2025.

Fear Street: The Queen of Fear features India Fowler (from The Nevers), Suzanna Son (The Idol), Fina Strazza (Above the Shadows), David Iacono (The Summer I Turned Pretty), Ella Rubin (The Idea of You), Chris Klein (Sweet Magnolias), Lili Taylor (Outer Range), and Katherine Waterston (The End We Start From).

The official synopsis for Fear Street: Prom Queen reads: “In this next installment of the blood-soaked Fear Street franchise, prom season at Shadyside High is underway and the school’s wolfpack of It Girls is busy with its usual sweet and vicious campaigns for the crown. But when a gutsy outsider is unexpectedly nominated to the court, and the other girls start mysteriously disappearing, the class of ’88 is suddenly in for one hell of a prom night.”

The film’s producers include Peter Chernin, Jenno Topping, and Kori Adelson.

The initial three movies, all helmed by Leigh Janiak, can currently be watched online via Netflix. The fourth installment, titled “Fear Street: Prom Queen,” is set for release in 2025 on the streaming platform.
