Jordana Brewster doesn’t know Fast X Part 2’s filming start date

Recently, Screen Rant had me over for a chat, but truth be told, I’m as much in the dark as you are about any updates on the Fast and Furious movie production. As Mia Toretto, Dom’s sister on-screen, I don’t have any inside scoop yet.

Brewster stated that she doesn’t have a set schedule for reading the script or obtaining information about it. Instead, she plans to access it online or gather details from Vin. However, she is unsure about the exact timing but expressed optimism that it would happen soon. Additionally, she shared her enthusiasm about potentially being involved in the film’s action scenes like the rest of the cast.

She expressed a desire for Paul Walker’s character Brian and her own character Mia to reappear on screen again, this time with their children who were last seen in Fast and Furious 7. “I’d love to see them,” she said. “I’d love to see the older kids return. That would be great,” she added.

In May 2024, the director of Fast X, Louis Leterrier, indicated that a sequel titled Fast X Part 2 would be hitting theaters in 2026. He further disclosed to Collider that filming will commence early next year and its release is scheduled for 2026. Remarkably, he mentioned that it would premiere on the same day as its original release, which was 25 years ago.
