If discovered, guards will immediately attack without warning. As it stands, we’re not convinced that the effort outweighs the potential consequences.
Many supporters have vouched for this system, highlighting that the method employed in “Oblivion” aligns more closely with the franchise’s original ethos. As Redditor u/Sultrysisyphus expressed it, “Vampirism is not a shortcut or hack, but a disease.” In contrast to “Skyrim,” where vampirism was essentially a power-driven fantasy, “Oblivion” appears to have designed it as a difficult gameplay element.
