Absolutely, the return of some unstructured shows is imminent as well! We have fresh seasons of Survivor and Dancing with the Stars to savor, along with CBS’s brand-new action-adventure competition series The Summit. And let’s not forget about following Joan Vassos’ journey on The Golden Bachelorette. There’s a plethora of content to engage us this fall. Kickstarting the lineup is the comeback of “Dancing with the Stars”, featuring Stephen Nedoroscik, affectionately known as “Pommel Horse Guy” and an American darling and Olympic gymnast, among its contestants. This dancing show will share the spotlight with the fresh procedural drama titled “High Potential”. In this series, Kaitlin Olson portrays Morgan, a former cleaner turned crime solver who teams up with Karadec (Daniel Sunjata), a strict detective, to adapt to her unorthodox methods in solving cases.

This season’s heartwarming love tale will be Joan Vassos’, our first-ever Golden Bachelorette, as she embarks on her own journey to find love and companionship following an unexpected early exit from Gerry Turner’s season of The Golden Bachelor. On Thursdays, you can expect a dose of high drama, with Doctor Odyssey nestled between the popular soap operas 9-1-1 and Grey’s Anatomy. In this Ryan Murphy-produced cruise ship medical drama, Joshua Jackson plays Dr. Max Bankman, the latest addition to the ship’s staff who must maintain the magical atmosphere of the ship while ensuring no one meets an untimely end during their vacation.

The CW TV schedule

Since Nexstar assumed control over The CW’s majority ownership, each passing year has brought a noticeable shift in their Fall TV schedule compared to what longtime viewers have been accustomed to. This trend continues for 2024, and we are gradually adapting to these changes.

The highly anticipated series, “Superman & Lois“, is set to air its fourth and last season. This will undoubtedly be a must-see for many viewers, especially as the Kent family saga has shifted from Thursdays to Mondays on the schedule, making for an exciting start to the week. The CW network is venturing into new territory by introducing game show programming, with the premieres of “Scrabble” hosted by Raven-SymonĂ© and LeVar Burton’s version of “Trivial Pursuit“.

From the schedule you see, “The Librarians: Next Chapter” is no longer part of the network’s fall schedule. Instead, it has switched networks and will air on TNT in 2025. This makes it the first show produced by CW Studios to be acquired by another network. In its place, a reality TV series titled “The Wranglers,” which follows young adults working on a ranch in Montana, has been added to the schedule.

On The CW, sports enthusiasts can look forward to the debut of the NASCAR XFinity series and the revival of professional wrestling with the show “WWE NXT”. This marks the return of wrestling to The CW after more than a decade.

Everyone’s eager for the One Chicago shows to return in September, bringing a full season order for all three series, along with a fresh season of The Voice starring Reba McEntire. However, we can’t help but feel curious about NBC’s upcoming medical drama, Brilliant Minds.
