In the second episode of Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest titled “Dragon’s Sea,” Natsu, Gray, and their companions reach Ermina. Upon entering an inn named Hotel Journey, they encounter an unexpected resident – a fish named Kashima. To their astonishment, the fish engages them in conversation.

In this episode, it’s uncovered that the drink enables people to breathe underwater when their town is flooded. Apart from Gray, everyone relishes their time there, swimming beneath the surface and socializing with an array of fish.

Yet, it comes to light that Kashima serves under Mercphobia. Upon discovering that Natsu’s group had arrived to confront Mercphobia, Kashima notified the other fish, leading to a fight. Subsequently, Natsu and his team disguised themselves as fish and stumbled upon a captive human named Kiria.

Kiria overpowers a monstrous marine beast, unveiling her true identity as a member of the dragon-slaying lineage, Diabolos’ fifth generation. Displeased by humans, Mercphobia emerges to challenge them.
