As a dedicated follower of Tamil and Telugu cinema, I’ve seen my fair share of rumors and speculations come and go. The recent buzz about Atlee collaborating with big-name actors like Allu Arjun, SRK, Ranbir Kapoor, Salman Khan, and Ranveer Singh was definitely exciting! However, the news of T-Series and Geetha Arts co-producing their film turned out to be just that – news. It’s always a bittersweet feeling when a much-anticipated project doesn’t come to fruition, but such is the rollercoaster ride we fans go on!
There’s been a lot of chatter on social media about the potential teaming up of director Atlee with actors such as Allu Arjun, Shah Rukh Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Salman Khan, and Ranveer Singh in a project. Lately, whispers about T-Series and Geetha Arts jointly producing a film featuring Allu Arjun and Atlee have been creating quite the buzz on social media. Unfortunately, these reports are false as there will be no collaboration between Atlee and Allu Arjun anymore.
Contrary to numerous rumors circulating online, there’s no truth to the allegations that the two major film production houses are merging for an upcoming project. In contrast, details regarding Allu Arjun’s next movie remain tightly guarded secrets.
Last September marked the first time that Atlee publicly disclosed his partnership with Allu Arjun on a project. Unfortunately, this collaboration has been called off as a result of various factors.
Previously, Atlee expressed that Allu Sir is a cherished friend with whom they admire each other’s work. They have a plan in mind for their collaboration, understanding both what and how to execute it. A film’s success, according to him, depends on divine intervention – specifically, the right script. As they have an idea now, they are waiting for divine blessings to move forward with their project.
I’m eagerly preparing for the launch of my highly anticipated movie, Pushpa 2: The Rule, which is being helmed by the acclaimed director Sukumar. This action-packed drama serves as a sequel to Pushpa: The Rise that was released in 2021. The first part concluded with Pushpa Raj making his entry into the world of red sandalwood smuggling, and according to updates, the second part is set to explore his contentious relationship with Bhanwar Singh in greater depth.
In addition to Allu Arjun, Pushpa 2 will be played by Rashmika Mandanna as Srivalli and Fahadh Faasil as SP Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat once more. This sequel is set to premiere in cinemas on December 6, 2026. It’s important to note that the release date was originally planned for August 15, 2024; however, due to delays in filming and post-production work, the producers decided to reschedule it.
