The source made it clear that these rumors are false and the actress was never in contention for any role in this particular project.
For those not familiar, Deepika Padukone has previously entered the world of Telugu films through Nag Ashwin’s critically acclaimed movie titled “Kalki 2898 AD,” which was a huge success.
In the multi-talented ensemble of the fantastical, mythological drama, the diva graced the screen alongside stars like Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, and others. Her character, Su-Mo, received tremendous acclaim, and her acting was highly admired by many.
Continuing forward, as per a private update from TopMob, the actress famous for her role in Om Shanti Om has formally agreed to the project and is now part of the team for the film directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. In this upcoming project, she will join forces with Prabhas once more.
