F1’s Brad Pitt Will Work With Tom Cruise Again on 1 Condition

In the upcoming sports drama titled “F1”, Brad Pitt, one of its leading actors, has shown enthusiasm about collaborating with Tom Cruise once more. However, he has made it clear that there is one specific requirement for such a project. It’s worth mentioning that these two highly influential Hollywood stars have previously shared the screen in the 1994 film “Interview with the Vampire”, which was a movie adaptation of Anne Rice’s 1976 novel by director Neil Jordan.

Brad Pitt is open to working with Tom Cruise again, but won’t ‘hang off’ airplanes

Brad Pitt is willing to work with Tom Cruise once more following their collaboration in “Interview with the Vampire”, but under one stipulation. When asked about future projects by E! News, Pitt stated, “I won’t be performing death-defying stunts like that again, so I’ll join him when he does something grounded instead.

The actor added some thoughts on Cruise’s praise of F1, describing him as “kind.” He mentioned that they shared a history with go-karts in the early ’90s. It is known that Cruise has talked about this before. Cruise previously disclosed that he and Pitt would race go-karts immediately after wrapping up filming for Interview with the Vampire, stating that Pitt was an exceptional driver. (via Cinemablend)

In light of Pitt’s concerns, they might not be entirely misplaced considering the daring stunts that Tom Cruise undertakes in his films. Previously, Joseph Kosinski, director of F1, collaborated with Cruise on Top Gun: Maverick. In a May interview with GQ, Kosinski discussed their approach to action sequences. He noted that while Cruise consistently pushes the boundaries, he is also exceptionally capable and skilled. “He’s incredibly talented behind the wheel,” Kosinski said. “However, I can see how Tom might give us a bit of a scare,” he added.

In the film “Interview with the Vampire,” Tom Cruise portrayed Lestat de Lioncourt, while Brad Pitt took on the character of Louis de Pointe du Lac. After its premiere, the movie garnered praise from critics and audiences alike, earning numerous Oscar nominations.
