F1 Video: Javier Bardem Puts His Trust in Brad Pitt’s Sonny Hayes

Warner Bros. has unveiled a fresh F1 video for the eagerly-awaited sports-centric drama, with Academy Award winner Brad Pitt portraying Sonny Hayes. This film is set to hit cinemas on June 27, 2025, positioning it in fierce competition against Blumhouse’s M3GAN 2.0 horror sequel at the box office.

What happens in the F1 video?

The video proceeds to focus on Brad Pitt’s character Sonny Hayes, showcasing his bond with Javier Bardem‘s character Ruben. It is Ruben who offers Sonny a second opportunity to rejoin Formula One, trusting in his racing abilities despite the skepticism surrounding him. The diverse cast includes Damson Idris as Joshua Pearce, Kerry Condon as Kate, Tobias Menzies as Banning, Kim Bodnia as Kaspar, Shea Whigham as Chip, Sarah Niles as Bernadette, and others.

Maverick. The script for this movie was penned by Ehren Kruger. Notably, real-life Formula One racers such as Lewis Hamilton, Carlos Sainz Jr., and others are expected to appear in the film. Additionally, production is being handled by Joseph Kosinski, Brad Pitt, Jerry Bruckheimer, Lewis Hamilton, Jeremy Kleiner, Dede Gardner, and Chad Omen. Daniel Lupi takes on the role of executive producer for this project.
