The series “Eyes of Wakanda” hasn’t debuted on Disney+ yet, but its showrunner, Todd Harris, has dropped hints suggesting that there could potentially be a second season in the future.
What is the latest Eyes of Wakanda Season 2 update?
In a chat with SFX magazine, Harris hinted at the prospect of another season for the series. Since its debut on August 27, 2025, he mentioned there’s always room to delve deeper into the storyline and that the team behind it has been consistently developing ideas. He playfully suggested that given Marvel’s track record, they might be keen to extend the narrative further.
Harris stated, “There’s no end to the tales that can be told.” He emphasized that creativity is never exhausted by any artist or writer. In his experience, there’s never a case where someone submits a script thinking, ‘It wasn’t long enough.’ Therefore, we definitely have more ideas up our sleeves. Moreover, it’s Marvel, and with them, there’s always room for more.

The new action-adventure series by Marvel Animation, titled ‘Eyes of Wakanda,’ chronicles the thrilling journeys of courageous warriors from Wakanda across different eras. In this world-traveling tale, these heroes are tasked with executing risky operations to reclaim Vibranium artifacts from enemies of Wakanda. They are known as the Hatut Zaraze, and their epic saga unfolds in this story.
Ryan Coogler, who was behind the direction of 2018’s Black Panther and 2022’s Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, assumes an executive producer role in Eyes of Wakanda. Joining him as fellow executive producers are Brad Winderbaum, Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Zinzi Coogler, Sev Ohanian, Kalia King, Todd Harris, and Dana Vasquez-Eberhardt.
