Expected DBD x Five Nights At Freddy’s release date with FNAF killer, survivor predictions

As someone who has spent countless nights trapped within the eerie realms of Dead By Daylight, I can’t help but feel an electric thrill coursing through my veins with the announcement of DBD x FNAF. The fusion of these two iconic horror franchises is a match made in nightmares!

2024 has been a fantastic year for Dead By Daylight, and while there’s plenty to look forward to in the remainder of 2024, anticipation for 2025 is particularly high due to the confirmation of DBD x FNAF. Here you will find the projected launch date for the Dead By Daylight x Five Nights At Freddy’s collaboration, along with speculations about who the DBD FNAF killer and survivor might be, drawn from a list of potential candidates.

As a gaming enthusiast eagerly waiting for DBD x FNAF, I can’t help but get excited about the upcoming announcements. BeHaviour recently unveiled the Dracula killer perks, along with Trevor Belmont survivor perks for CastleVania Chapter 33. On top of that, we’re looking forward to Trevor Belmont’s Legendary skin when CastleVania launches! And let’s not forget the release date for The Casting of Frank Stone – more awesome gaming content on its way!

It’s clear that all of this news is thrilling, but it can’t be ignored that some attention has shifted from Castlevania following Behaviour’s FNAF announcement. The launch date for Dead By Daylight x Five Nights At Freddy’s isn’t until next year, yet fans are eagerly anticipating the potential killer and survivor roles, as well as a possible new map.

Expected Dead By Daylight x Five Nights At Freddy’s release date

The official launch date for the collaboration between Dead By Daylight and Five Nights at Freddy’s has been set for August 27th. This is confirmed for the summer of 2025, and historically, summer chapters have been released during the last week of August.

Last summer, we had the premieres of Alien (released on August 29, 2023) and Resident Evil part 2 (August 30, 2022). This upcoming summer, expect CastleVania to debut on August 27th.

As a dedicated fan, I’m excitedly anticipating that if history repeats itself, the much-awaited DBD x FNAF collaboration will drop on my calendar again next year, marking August 27th as the day I’ll be diving back into the horrors of both universes!

DBD x FNAF killer and survivor predictions

Behaviour Interactive has yet to reveal specifics about the characters for the upcoming crossover between Dead by Daylight and Five Nights at Freddy’s, only confirming that it will be released during summer of next year.

During the anticipated 9th anniversary live stream in June, further details might be disclosed or hinted at. At this point, we can only speculate about what might happen.

In the storyline of Scott Cawthon’s universe, it’s likely that Springtrap, being connected to William Afton who is the main antagonist and serial killer, could be the predicted character. However, there’s also a chance it might be Freddy, considering his iconic status in Five Nights at Freddy’s (FNAF). Yet, we would expect Freddy to appear as a Legendary skin rather than the primary character.

Although Springtrap seems to be the likely antagonist, determining the survivor is less straightforward. It’s not definitively known if there will even be a survivor, as it could potentially be a standalone story about the killer. However, past summer chapters have always included a survivor, so we can speculate that there might be one in this chapter too.

In the credits for the graphic version, neither Blumhouse nor Steelwool are cited. Instead, only Scott Cawthon receives copyright recognition. This could imply that the characters from Security Breach might not be involved. As a speculation, it’s plausible that the protagonist could be Mike Schmidt, the security guard introduced in the initial game. Interestingly, Mike Schmidt is the character portrayed by Josh Hutcherson in the movie. However, given the absence of Blumhouse credit, it seems unlikely that they would use Hutcherson’s likeness for this role.

As I pen this down, it’s all speculation at the moment. Nothing’s set in stone about a survivor or a map. But here’s hoping! The idea of dashing through the Pizzaplex is already thrilling enough, so imagine if there were a map to explore! That would be the cherry on top.
