What happens in the Things Will Be Different clip?
In a nearby cornfield close to a big farmhouse, Thompson’s character, Joseph, and Dandy’s character, Sidney, take cover. Upon exiting the cornfield, they successfully spook a band of men who were drinking and shooting. However, Joseph fears that these men will soon be back with others who are skilled marksmen.
In the movie, brothers Joseph (Adam David Thompson) and Sidney (Riley Dandy) find themselves in a pickle when they meet up at a local diner following a near-disaster robbery. To avoid the police, they flee to an abandoned farmhouse that mysteriously transports them through time. However, their escape plan goes awry when a mysterious and enigmatic metaphysical entity appears, preventing their return home. Now stranded on this confounding piece of land, their captor warns that no one can leave until certain lethal conditions are fulfilled. As they grapple with the strange events unfolding around them, not only do the laws of space and time seem to bend, but the brothers’ relationship is pushed to its limits.
