As a huge fan of historical films, especially those set during World War II, I am absolutely thrilled to see the exclusive clip from “The Arctic Convoy” that ComingSoon has shared with us. The clip perfectly captures the tension and danger that sailors faced while braving the harsh Arctic seas to deliver vital supplies to soldiers on the front lines.

What is The Arctic Convoy about?
In 1942, the captain of a convoy transporting crucial military supplies to a Norwegian fortification bravely chooses to navigate perilous, heavily guarded waters, disregarding the withdrawal of their military escort. Facing relentless attacks from German aircraft and naval forces, the 35 merchant ships valiantly battle the frigid Arctic elements to deliver essential reinforcements to soldiers at the frontline.
Henrik Martin Dahlsbakken is the writer and director of the Norwegian film, boasting a rich filmography that includes “Returning Home” (2015), “Going West” (2017), “An Affair” (2018), “Another Happy Christmas” (2020), “Project Z” and “The Outlaws” (both 2021), and “Munch” (2023).
I’m thrilled to see Tobias Santelmann bring Mørk to life on screen, with Anders Baasmo as his partner Skar. Heidi Rudd Ellingsen plays the role of Ragnhild, while Preben Hodneland portrays Lars. Adam Lundgren is Johan, and Jon Ranes brings Sigurd to the story. Olav Waastad gives a compelling performance as Chiefen, and Kristian Repshus takes on the character of Evensen. Fredrick Stenberg D-S plays Martinsen, and Tord Kinge brings Isaksen to life. Lastly, Jakob Fort joins the cast as Bergvik.
Christian Siebenherz, Lars Gudmestad, and Harald Rosenløw Eeg collaborated on writing the script. Martin Sundland, Catrin Gundersen, and Thea Benedikte Karlsen were responsible for producing the movie.
