I have personally experienced similar situations in games where meticulous planning goes out the window due to unforeseen circumstances, and it’s always a rollercoaster ride of emotions.

The movie’s synopsis reveals that Ethan has organized a surprise party for his girlfriend Jane, intending to propose later in the night. However, despite his meticulous planning, numerous unexpected events disrupt the celebration. In “SURPRISE!”, sibling disputes create tension, unannounced exes add complications, and even Grandma pays an unscheduled visit to reclaim a family heirloom. Despite these setbacks, Ethan and Jane’s friends display both compassion and chaos, ultimately guiding the couple toward a positive resolution.

When is the Surprise! release date?
Starting August 13, 2024, in the United States, “Surprise!” can be rented or purchased digitally on various platforms including the internet, cable, and satellite. Additionally, a DVD version will be available. Directed by Nate Hapke who co-wrote the screenplay with Rosie Grace, this film features an impressive ensemble cast: Thompson as Jane, Bryce Harrow as Ethan, Marisa Hood as Cait, Rob Harrow as Mack, Charlie Carr as Ashley, Lee Shorten as Walt, Aaron Sanders as Clark, Jamie Miller as Ashleigh, Gwen Hillier as Norah, CB Mullen as Graham, Niya Wright as Willa, Javier Prusky as Steve, Nate Hapke as Ted, Justin Sorvillo as Roger, Jack Thomas Williams as Derek, and Paulina Bugembe as Briana.
