EXCLUSIVE: South star Nani opens up on his idea of creating a HIT universe and bringing all cops together, says ‘We have bigger plans’

Following the resounding success of HIT: The First Case and HIT: The Second Case, Nani, along with Sunidhi Shetty, is dazzling audiences with their performances in HIT: The Third Case. In an exclusive interview with TopMob, the actor shared insights about the HIT universe, the escalation of violence in HIT 3, and plans for potential future installments.

When questioned about his comment on transforming HIT into a franchise, Nani elaborated with comprehensive explanations. In essence, he explained that HIT already functions as its own world and could potentially expand, hinting at future installments possibly numbered five or six. He also suggested an intriguing idea: what if all the cops collaborate for a significant case, which would certainly captivate viewers.

During our chat, when it was noted that HIT 3 seemed more violent than the earlier installments and if this was intentional, the actor clarified, “No, no, we let the script guide the direction. To be honest, we didn’t actively decide to turn the third one into an action film or anything similar.

He went on to say, “We initially conceived a script concept, which surprisingly evolved into its current form. Initially, we believed that since we had already made two films in the genre of investigative thrillers, this one too would fall under that category, but it instead took a different path and transformed into an action-oriented survival film.

Continuing the conversation, the actor hinted that following two segments structured in a specific manner, spectators should anticipate a change ahead.
