In the near future, ComingSoon will unveil a special preview of the trailer titled “Single Car Crashes” for Brittani Ward’s directorial debut in the small town drama genre. This announcement follows Freestyle Digital Media securing the distribution rights for the North American Video on Demand market.
The movie narrative revolves around Sean, a former star baseball prospect who’s yet to move beyond his hometown and high school job. He grapples with survivor’s guilt following a tragic car accident that claimed the life of his best friend Zach ten years ago. Facing the risk of losing touch with his nine-year-old son and loved ones, Sean is forced to address his unfulfilled potential. When Kendall, Zach’s sister and Sean’s first love, returns for a wedding, they reconnect over their shared grief, reminisce about the past, and eventually find themselves drawn together, igniting feelings that were once deep-rooted in their history.

When is the Single Car Crashes release date?
Starting February 7, you’ll be able to stream or purchase digitally the film titled “Single Car Crash” across all North American digital platforms (including HD internet, cable, and satellite services). A DVD version will become available on February 11. The movie features Trevor Morgan as Sean, Lindsey Morgan as Kendall, Paulina Olszynski as Jane, Cruz Gonzalez-Cadel as Ashley, Chris Lee as Nolan, Billy Dec as Joey, Charín Alvarez as Mrs. Johnson, and Billy Zane as Coach.
The movie is crafted by Brittani Ward, who’s also co-producing it with Angie Gaffney under their production house, 521 Films. Additionally, Kelly Aisthorpe Waller, Ted Reilly, and Markie Glassgow are serving as executive producers. Apart from Single Car Crashes, the duo of Ward and Gaffney are currently engaged in their upcoming project, Alex Heller’s Debaters, set to premiere at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival.
