EXCLUSIVE: Rashmika Mandanna recalls how Kirik Party, Animal, and Pushpa 2 have a connection and it's special

As a lifestyle expert with an eye for Hollywood-worthy narratives, I find Rashmika Mandanna‘s journey to be nothing short of captivating. The actress has proven herself to be a force to reckon with in the world of cinema, and her latest success with Allu Arjun starrer Pushpa 2: The Rule is no exception.

Right now, Rashmika Mandanna is basking in the fame brought by Allu Arjun’s film, Pushpa 2: The Rule. In a special interview with TopMob Masterclass, she shared her experience of having blockbusters like Animal and Pushpa 2 premiere in December.

In her statement, Rashmika Mandanna expressed that it feels particularly meaningful for her. She recalled that her debut film, Kirik Party, was released either on the 30th or 31st of December, and since then she’s worked on films like Chamak in Kannada, followed by Pushpa 1, Animal, and now Pushpa 2. As a result, she feels a strong bond with the month of December.

Currently, I share a similar apprehension. Whenever a movie comes out in December, I find myself hoping it’s excellent and that it will live up to the standard set by the previous ones. The anticipation is becoming quite intense, and I’m worried about handling too much stress.

Discussing further her career as an actor, notably appearing in movies such as Animal and the upcoming Pushpa 2, Rashmika Mandanna shared that she lacks a background in filmmaking. The actress elaborated on how, unlike many others in her profession, she never participated in theater while her school-based dancing was her closest experience with performing.

The actress was thrilled to discover that seeing audiences hoot and cheer during her film scenes, particularly while portraying Srivalli in Pushpa 2: The Rule, was a truly wonderful experience for her. She admits that she never imagined this level of success as an actress until it became a reality.

In the future, actress Rashmika Mandanna was recently spotted in the film Pushpa 2, reprising her character Srivalli from the 2021 movie Pushpa: The Rise. This sequel delved further into the story of red sandalwood smuggler, Pushparaju (played by Allu Arjun), as he navigated his way to the peak of a syndicate. The narrative was expanded upon and enriched in its portrayal.

In the subsequent film, Fahadh Faasil reprised his character as Bhanwar Singh Shekawat, a ruthless police officer who had a power struggle with Pushpa. The movie debuted on December 5, 2024, and is currently enjoying its run in cinemas.
