Exclusive My First Horror Film Clip Turns up the Heat

As a horror movie enthusiast with a deep appreciation for indie films, I’m absolutely intrigued by the upcoming release of “My First Horror Film.” The exclusive clip from Dread’s latest production has piqued my interest and left me on the edge of my seat.

Exclusive to ComingSoon, we have a chilling preview from the digital release of “My First Horror Film” by Dread, set to hit your screens next month.

An up-and-coming social media star’s journey to secure her first role in a horror film is portrayed in this movie. But her quest for fame takes a terrifying turn when a genuine serial killer begins stalking her co-actors. As the team faces a chilling reality that mirrors their film’s script, they must unite and use their wits to outmaneuver the murderer and endure the harrowing experience they believed was only make-believe.

I was given the opportunity to preview an intriguing scene from our show. In it, one of the actors discovers that they’ve been trapped inside a sauna. But here’s the twist – they’re not entirely sure if they’re the only person in there.

Exclusive My First Horror Film Clip – Open the Door

The first horror film I’ve made is scheduled for a unique screening in Los Angeles on August 9, 2024. Following that, it will be released digitally on August 13, 2024.

I had the thrill of watching “My First Horror Film” for the first time, a chilling masterpiece brought to life by debut filmmaker Shihan Van Clief. This chilling tale features an impressive cast including Georgina Navarro (“Fade”), Chauntice Green (“9-1-1: Lone Star”), Justyn Franco (“The Nexus”), Stephan O’Shea, Joy Marie Thomas (“Ballers”), and Miles Crawford (“Euphoria”).

In an interview about his debut horror film, Shihan Van Clief shares, “As a newcomer in filmmaking, I aimed to create a chilling tale that wouldn’t just scare but also leave viewers with a sense of satisfaction. It might seem unusual for a horror movie, but I believe we achieved this balance. This production was a team effort and I’m thankful for the talented cast, crew, and distributor that made it happen. Don’t forget to watch the end credits as we have an exciting surprise in store.”

Yulissa Morales, VP of US Distribution and Creative at Epic Pictures and Dread, expresses her excitement: “We’re delighted to introduce Shihan Van Clief’s directorial debut to our audience. His team has crafted an excellent film, and we can’t wait to see what he achieves next.”
